The local meet committee wants you and your child to have fun while participating in the Hershey Track and Field Games.

During the meet, we ask that ALL spectators stay in the stands during events.
Each participant will report to the bullpen after their check in. The bullpen is located on the south end of the west stands. At the bullpen, meet officials will organize the participants for each event.
Children compete according to age, based on the year they were born:
- Age Group 6-8: Born in 2004, 2005 and 2006
- Age Group 9-10: Born in 2002 and 2003
- Age Group 11-12: Born in 2000 and 2001
- Age Group 13-14: Born in 1998 and 1999
Important Meet Information
- Changing Event: April 24 is the deadline for changing your child's event(s). You can make changes at the track meet and your child will be able to participate in that event, but will not be able to place or qualify for state for that event.
- Changes are made by signing into your account.
- Drop-in Format: The Johnson County meet will use a drop-in format. Participants are able to compete in most events any time between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
- Established Start Times: Only the 800 meter and the 1600 meter events will have set times. The 800m at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The 1600m at 9 a.m. and noon.
- Relay Teams: With the drop in format; all relay teams will advance to the state meet. No relay races will be held at the local meet.
- The entire team (four members) must be established and registered by April 24. Each member must have competed at the Johnson County meet in another event.
- Birth certificates are not needed from the participants on the day of the meet. The top six finishers from each event will be notified by email the week after that they have qualified for the state meet. After that time, a photocopy of the birth certification will be needed to be mailed or faxed to us.
- Participants may be placed in heats with different ages and gender.
- Winners are determined by best times and distances in their age and gender group.

Emails updates are sent periodically with important reminders. All emails are archived for easy reference.
Results
- Unofficial results will be posted online as the meet being held.
- Official results will be posted online May 4. It takes a week to verify the results and birth certificates. Ribbons for the top six finishers will be mailed shortly thereafter.
Participant ribbons will be given to all 6-8 year olds.
